Well, it has been Two and A Half weeks since my last entry. The first week I was just plain lazy.
The second week however I spent six days at a hospital in Rochcester, New York to find a way to control a chornic medical condition. I will let you know what's going to happen after I meet with the Doctor's, the week of my birthday.

Here It Comes...
Yesterday, in a Federal Court in Washington, a jury found Lewis, "Scooter" Libby, Guilty of four counts of perjury, for lying about leaking the name of Valerie Plame, a CIA Operative and the wife of Joe Wilson. Wilson went to Niger, to investigate weither or not Saddam Hussein sought to buy Yellowcake Uranium. It was Wilson's objection to this fact that some believe led to Wilson's wife being "Outed" as an agent of the CIA, in retaliation for destroying the main reason the United States should invade Iraq, and take down Saddam Husein.
With this conviction, many liberals and those on the far left believe that this is the beginning of the end of the administration of George W. Bush. I hate to say this but I believe that this is just the first step the Democrats will take to remove the President from office.
The 11 member jury came to the conclusion that Libby lied about leaking the name of Valerie Plame, as an agent of the CIA, to cover up for Vice President Cheney.
You can say what you want about this trail, but it all comes down to this simple fact. The Democrats, and their willing accomplices in the media have set this as the first step on the road to an attempt to impeach at least the President and quite possibly, the Vice President. By indictment and conviction of both, the White House would be occupied by a Female for the first time. As a member of the Democrat Party, "President" Pelosi would begin an immediate withdrwl of our armed forces from Iraq.
You might be reading the previous paragraph and think "Boy this guy probably belives that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone in Dallas the day John Kennedy was assasinated." Well I have never been sure either way about that little episode but there are a few things that have come together that have lead me to this conclusion.
Next to the result of the Libby Trial, the biggest news story of the last two weeks has been is the Conditions of the Outpatient of Walter Reed Army Hospital. Several people in charge of the Hospital, as well as higher ups of the army were either removed or resingned.
Many will say that Scooter Libby, and those who had a part in the neglect at Walter Reed were nothing more than scapegoats. The responsibility for these problems and all the others that have arisen in thje past month begins at 1600 Pensylvania Avenue. Those in the opposition feel that maybe the President, whom they feel was originally elected illegitamely, and suspucially re-elected should be removed from office long with the man who has lied, and profitted from the Iraqi war should be removed.
The good news is that even, if the President, and Vice-President were charged with impeachable offenses it would, hopefully derailed in the Senate.
The Democrats have a choice, bring the country together, and refrain from this folly, or it could continue to tear apart the country and initiate the process.

ENOUGH ALREDY
I promised myself that I would never bring up the name Anna Nicole Smith (ANS) on this blog. I hope you will indulge me a one time dispensation, now that this Blond, Bimbo, Buried, Bombshell ( How do you like that alliteration???) has been laid to rest I have a few things to say.
First, and foremost this women is a microcosm of what is wrong in our society. We care too much about a women who took advantage, and was taken advantage of who she thought she was. I am not sure which I am more disgusted more with. The Fact that ANS married a man almost four times her age, or that a man such as Howard K. Stern would be slimy enough to take advantage of ANS, even after she died. I Guess it is MR Scum, I mean Stern. This man tried to sell ANS property on E-Bay shortly after her death. He even got Entertainment Tonight to pony up FOUR MILLION Dollars to record the graveside service. All I have to say is PT Barnum is somewhere with a huge grin. "A sucker is born every minute" indeed.
Of all the people in this too long saga, the only one I feel sorry for is DanielleLynn Smith.
Five months old and she is going to be fought over for the foreseeable future like a rented mule. I hope that Larry Birkhead, or Virgie Arthur get custody of this kid. Mr. Stern should not be able to get within a hundred miles of the little girl. I hope that this little girl will be able to go to the person who would be best able to care for her, in the event that the inheritance people are expecting her to receive from her late "Step-Father doesn't come through.
I am hoping now that the dearly departed has been put into the ground that the media will move on to bigger and better things. I just hope it has nothing to do with the exploits of anyone named Paris, Lindsey, or Brittney, or anyone else who transcends our culture. I realize however that the media will move onto the next " Flavor of the Moment" and suck the marrow out of those bones. Isn't it funny that many more people will remember ANS after her death, then remember her when she was alive?? Elvis this ones for you.

The N-Word Let's Talk About It
I was watching the Fox News Channel a couple of days ago. The anchor was talking about a resoloution asking people to refrain from using the N-Word. This resolotion, nonbinding though it is an opportunity to talk about what many in and out of the African-American Community, including yours truly feel is a word that is hurtful in so many ways.
I can not for the life of me why anyone especially thoes of African decesent would want to use a word with such a negative connotation. I do not understand why such person would use it when they are talking about themselves, as well as other blacks. Anyone irregardless of their race knows that This word was used by slave owners in an attempt to show their superiority over their "Property." This air of superiority is prevelent in thoes groups who believe their race is better, rather than equal to the African American race.
As an American of European decesent, I abhor the use of the N-Word, and I do not see myself any better than a person of color because I am white. Like Dr. King, the content of a persons character is much more importiant the color of their skin.
The thing that confuses me most, is why African-American will use, in my opinion such a vulgar word when speaking to each other? A Florida man, in an Associated Press article published in the New York Post on 2/28/07 puts it in perspective.
Another Black man sees it this way.
" It's degrading and disrespectful, and I'd like to see it eliminated completely."
There are many blacks, including Academy Award Winner Jamie Foxx, who will continue to use the word when speaking to other blacks. A Dallas Texas area Black teen put it this way.
"we grew up saying it and it's what I say all the time. It's not going to stop anybody from saying it."
They say words are powerful. This word was something that helped to subjugate an entire race for a couple centuries. It helped to seperate groups in communities based on their skin color. This word attempted to denote a great deal of ignorence to a group of people. For these and many others, this word if this word is not outright banned, there should be a great deal of education to make everyone, irregardless of their race, what a harmful, and hurtful name the N-Word is. Hopefully this understanding can result in a better understanding of their fellow man.

Way to Go Darcy!!!
I am a big Buffalo Sabres Fan. I have enjoyed the past year watching, this young team that many said were playing way over their heads. I guess being one period away from playing for the Stanley Cup Finals, means very little.
Well the Sabres as many of you know tied the league record for most consecutive wins from the start of the seaon. Despite a losing record for the month of January, The Blue and Gold have the best record in the NHL, and are fighting the Anaheim Ducks for the President's Cup awarded for the best record league-wide.
Tuesday, marked the last day for trading this season. The Big question for Sabres fans was would Darcy Regier make a move to improve the team? Even being up against the Salary Cap due to numerious injuries over the last two weeks? Well before the 3:00 PM deadline We got the answer. The Sabres, who up until yesterday had not make a single trade, put all their chips on the table. Four trades were made in a matter of hours proved the the Sabres General Manager was going to do what it took to take this team to the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Sabres traded Martin Biron to Philadelphia for a second round pick. It would seem that the team should have gotten more, but the team could not afford to put another salary into their budget. With the salary of Biron gone the Sabres were able to go out and acquire Dainius Zubrus from Washington for Jiri Novotny. Hopefully this trade along with the other two that were made can help the Blue and Gold over the top. Hopefully there is a big victory parade in the future for this team, and this town.

SO, WELCOME TO MY WORLD...
" Allow myself, to introduce.....Myself. My name is Richie Cunningham, and this is my wife Oprah."
Oh, no I am channeling Austin Powers again.
If you have looked at my profile, you know a little about me. Let me tell you a little more.
First off, as you can tell form the name of this blog, I am not your typical Blue State New Yorker. I have been a member of the Republican Party since 1992. I consider Ronald Reagan to be the greatest President of the 20Th Century. I believe in the Conservative Philosophy, championed by President Reagan, that less is more. I am unapologetically Proud to be an American. I have the utmost respect for the men and women of the United States Military. I am proud of the job the military has done in the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, and helping Iraq on the road to democracy.
OK, now on to things that I hate, detest, loathe(You get the Drift....)
Those in the Democratic Party who's goal it is to take this country as far to the left as it is possible.(ie: political correctness, socialized medicine, getting along with others by being just like them, etc)
I hate those who detest our military and march against our men and women in uniform for their own selfish agenda's. One of my biggest thing that I hate is phony people. Those people who try to impress you by being someone who they aren't. The worst a Politicians who make big, bold promises, and end up not fallowing though. This is frustrating because around here there are plenty of this type of politicians around here.(We'll talk alot about that in here...)
Well that's enough about me for now. I have only one question for you. How do you like me now??
